The domestic side is the standard job and we treat it as such. We pick the dish position by what the meter says rather than by which wall is easiest, fix the bracket into something structural, run RG6 to each TV point, seal the outdoor connections and set the decoder up properly — including the channel scan and a signal check at every TV before we hand over.

If the dish goes on a building you do not own, get the landlord's agreement before the appointment, and check whether there is an existing dish or feed on the building already — on a multi-tenant property there often is, and connecting to it is simpler than adding another dish to the roof.

Access is worth a mention too. Where a site has restricted hours, a gate procedure or a safety induction for contractors, tell us when you book so the whole job happens in one visit rather than two.
